Deepak Padaki

As Catamaran’s President, Deepak spearheads the overall performance of the firm’s portfolio. His responsibilities include crafting and implementing the investment strategy, overseeing asset allocation and establishing operational and risk management policies and processes.

Deepak previously served as the Executive Vice President, Group Head of Strategy and Chief Risk Officer at Infosys Limited, and brings more than three decades of experience in the global IT services and software product industry. His diverse roles at Infosys encompassed strategy, M&A, venture funding, risk management, business development, software engineering and project management. He served as a member of the board of Infosys’ software subsidiaries in Israel, the Netherlands, the USA, Japan and India.

Deepak is a member of the Executive Committee of the Indian Venture Capital Association, IVCA, and is a keen contributor to the PE/VC ecosystem in India. He is a member of the Corporate Governance and Regulatory Affairs Council of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He was the Vice President of the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, a lead member of the CII’s start-up and knowledge management councils, and a member of the World Economic Forum’s strategy and risk officers’ councils.

In his leisure time, Deepak engages in community theatre. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, India.
